Established in 1983, as the Parent-to-Parent Support Group, what is now the London Down Syndrome Association was initiated by a group of parents who were attending the Child and Parent Research Institute’s support group. We are a group of individuals who seek to further the goals of the association. At the head of the association is an Executive Committee (Board of Directors), who directs the activities of the association with input from the membership as a whole. We are an association of people with Down Syndrome, their families and friends.
