| Many of our members enjoy several types of sports at differing levels, with great success. The LDSA has created and also has members involved in many different sports associations. We strive to highlight a few associations below but this is by no means all that is available. If you know of a particular association that specializes or accommodates for people with special needs, please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to promote them here as well. People with Down Syndrome may be, but not always, limited in certain physical activities. It is advisable that you consult with medical personnel before pursuing sports activities. |

The GBSA has been playing hockey in the City of London since 1968.
They are a team of caring men and women, who want to give our special kids a chance to play the great game of Hockey. Our kids (and their families) travel from near and far to play in this fantastic league!
The George Bray Sports Association has also officially been inducted in The Hockey Hall of Fame. How awesome is that! |
